Learning how to cherish the weekend again.

The week has been a tough one.

Poised with an uncertain job scope, with new expectations, a new surrounding and a task without common faces, it wasn't easy for someone so used to being a student. Worst of all, I had to learn how to blardee wake up at 6 and sleep at 12. That isn't easy because of my 'curse'.

Every morning I had to force myself out of bed at 6 ... wait that isn't difficult for someone who had been awake for 2 hours... Everyday I would wake up from my sleep between 4am to 430am... and I will be in this 'semi-woken' state until my alarm rung... then I had to make my way to work. Along the way I would stop at some 'roadside' within the housing estate for a morning breather. Then I would drive in, sign in, look at my schedule, observe classes, wait for the last bell. Then I would sign out, drive to the same 'roadside' for my second breather of the day. What happens next in the day would be the only social life that I have during the week. But it would be constricted to the 'curfew' of 12am or the latest 1 am...

So everyday I had to restrict myself to some 'structure' I am not used to. And I am glad I am here blogging over the weekend. But honestly, I feel a bit fucked up inside. I know what is wrong but there is nothing I can do. I don't know why I let myself think about it. Even though I told myself to adopt a strategy of 'non-interference' and I know there is a 'clause' to the problem, I will still be bothered with it. I think I am just blardee lost. I think the truth is, I cannot accept the fact until I know the truth. Argh.

But once again, my friends have came to the rescue following the new regime. I think you guys really make it much easier. Sometimes you all ask me why I love you all so much, why I would go all the way to look for you guys, why I go all out to help... Have you asked yourself how lonely it is without you guys? I cannot imagine. I dare not imagine.

So here I am, feeling all stuffed with different questions. Totally 'Emoed' and lost. When I am supposed to enjoy the weekend. Maybe all I need is to get out. Argh.

Maybe I just have to believe that life is simple. I told someone I believe life is simple. She doubted it. Now I think about it... I always believed life is simple... But what happens when a problem appearing simple yet is, complex in nature, comes your way? Yar that is what is bothering me. But I guess I will be simple and I will see the problem as something simple. Maybe I will live easier following that... but wouldn't that mean I am possibly trying to cheat myself? haha. Damm. TIme to go out.

I love you all! but not in a romantic way! haha

What happens if you put Siao Kao and Way Ngee together in the back seat of your car, a female friend in the front passenger and a statement... "I love XXXX ... but not in a romantic way"? You can hear 'wedding bells' immediately churning and beautiful voices singing 'I will follow you' ktv tunes going on and on... thats what happen today. Yar, guys please lar, stop the scandal bells... there is no such romantic love at the moment. Just love for you all. You all know that. haha.

Today's training was tough. It was tough because the lesson were too long and also because I felt they were too engaging and interesting. To me at least. So combine that with a sever lack of water ... equals a great big headache. I am glad I am better now.

But at the end of a tough and draining day, I am grateful I had some friends to chill out with by the beach. Not to forget the wonderful meal at East Coast Park Lagoon with Lee and the rest.

The Lagoon has been a memorable place in the past year. I guess its a place to hold a perfect 'get together' or just a night out with a friend. I think as my next phase in life takes place, the Lagoon will 'grow' to play a more significant role in my life. I don't think I will get bored of that place. So anyone up for a drink?

Back to school?

Back on the blogspot.

Aren't you all glad I am back? I didn't post that question out of the sudden or without any reason. So many of you guys have commented: "your blog is a bit neglected" or "why aren't you blogging". Don't worry, I am back, even if it is not for my friends, its also for myself.

Today we begun the first official 'lecture' of NIE ... yar, it was quite a waste of time... so was yesterday's registration. But then again, I felt happy to see all of you again.

I don't really know why but I saw so many familiar faces at the mass briefing today. Believe me it was like a 'friendster' outing. And out of the familiar faces, I was really happy to see my best friends and the Geography honours classmates.

As I sat in the auditorium, I was pretty much glad that I was in the company of Mr D, Aunty Tang, Rita and Way Ngee... come on lor, I saw some poor souls sitting alone. Must be damm 'chiam' lar. Then as we were talking away... we saw Classmate Tan, Elis and Don strolling in because they were obviously just 'on time'... haha. And during the lecture, I was looking out for Mighty Mouse and the rest... and yar Nafisah spotted Mr D before me... I wonder why.

Yar lastly, thanks to Harriet and Lit Co., I manage to have my first puff in NTU ... kanna sai, the blardee school really damm smoke free k ... its design exposes almost every corner of the building... it is impossible to find a hidden corner...

So that is the the first day of school... NIE that is. I think its time to end here, pack my bag and get to bed. Its high time I readjust my bio clock.

P.S. Geography Rocks! (Hint to Debs...)

Thank You.

This post is long overdue and I think I have not been a nice friend for not posting anything in the last month or so. I guess its a combination of being too tired, travelling, having too much fun and my laziness that results in the delay and the silence on this blog.

I guess I have to say Thank You to my honours class, Soccer Folks, Shearites and Mulu Kids. Thanks for giving me the best birthday suprise I ever had in my life. I seriously mean it... even though I have always successfully managed to suprise some people, no one has every shocked me with a suprise so big in my life before.

I am happy you guys and my other friends (chocobos and arts peeps) remembered my birthday this year. Its been a tough year. And I guess it was nice to have a suprise and a nice party in the honours room to cap a really beautiful year.

Okie I think time to go ... I will post more about the birthday surprise once I get home... I think this blog will take an official leave these couple of weeks. But I promise you guys I will share about my life following the dreaded examinations.

P.S. As you all can see... this blog was written long time ago in Khao Lak but because of technical problems in the internet cafe I was at... It was not posted. Well ... All I can say better late then never. Anyway I am back. hehe.
