After all these years of people hounding me to share pics... I decided to do it by using Flickr.
Why Flickr? Cause its really easy... sweet. Next, I think Flickr seems why more built for photographers then other image hosting websites or communities out there. Flickr seems to be developed more for the purpose of sharing photos and not for networking. I think in that way, I get show you all stuff I have been capturing while avoiding a lot of distractions.
So the first 'set' I have was from Sunday's Raw Duathlon 2009, where Joey and Willie took part while a whole bunch of 'race crew' were on scene to support them from 6 am... argh! My beauty sleep!
O yar ... Thanks Geri... for introducing me to 'great' stuff, you have always been ever encouraging as a BFFAB (haha) and forever pestering me to get on flickr... yar I am finally here! And I am loving it!

An evening by the Jetty.
Once again today isn't that lovely. The days seem to get worse each day. There is a time bomb that is ticking away. Some of us share the same bomb. Others might not understand. Some know but do nothing about it.
The way I deal with my time bomb is to pick up the keys to violet and take a drive away from 'home'. Get away from everyone. So that nobody will give a damm who you are. Hence the freedom to really be myself. Alone and happy.
So today I drove down Jalan Bahar, all the way to Jalan Bahtera jetty. Sat there for an hour in the wind just to catch the sunset. Amazingly while I was there, nobody spoke a single word of English. Only Malay and dialect was spoken by the individuals in the area. Its quite an amazing space in Singapore as it reflects a kind of small malay fishing community. Ironically, the coast opposite the sea was Malaysia.
Yar, so here are some photographs showing how a gloomy day eventually ends with a warming sunset. I guess there really is hope ... I felt it there... the warmth amidst the chilling wind.

Shades
I am a bit tired... but I think I need to start blogging about life again... if not I will be able to 'tell' my friends about my adventures in Nepal and Taiwan. So lets start with some pictures I took during both trips... that way I don't have to express my joy and feelings with words. After all most of the time I prefer to let the pictures do the 'talking'...
So this series of photos (trust me, I kind of like taking this style) are what I call 'Shades'. Meaning? The object that I intend to focus on is too dark, hence it appears black or 'shaded' against the brighter backgrounds. Kinds of expresses my current feeling and mood... a bit gloomy although I might seem to be rather normal. So yar folks, I do hope you enjoy this pictures. Hopefully I post more entries and photos as well.
